Volunteer search & rescue for Cochise County — ready 24/7/365.
Founded in 1982 by Manny Gomez (SAR-01), Cochise County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue searches for, rescues, and recovers people in distress across the county's mountains, canyons, and high desert. The volunteers serve under sworn deputy coordinators; the Cochise SAR Foundation backs them with equipment, training, and community education.
